24 Oct Little Levi’s Miracle Flight
Levi is one of just 21 people worldwide with a rare form of dwarfism. Because his condition is so rare, he visits to different doctors around the country for treatment.”¬
Biggest Flight Ever
Over the summer, Levi flew from his home in Mississippi to Wilmington, Delaware for an orthopedic evaluation. (This was the 100,000th flight arranged by Miracle Flight and Levi’s “biggest flight ever!”)
Overnight, both Levi and his mom stayed at the Ronald McDonald of Delaware, just across the street from the hospital. Staying at the House made the trip a lot easier on mom Dona because meals are provided and there are other children for her son to play with. While staying at the House, Levi especially enjoyed catching up with his friends Arshaan and Jahaan who share the same rare condition
On October 22nd, Levi was a special guest at our 25th Anniversary Celebration at the Hotel Du Pont. He and his doctor, Dr. Mackenzie did a special on-stage interview, and stole the show.
Levi has a huge personality- take a look at this great video about his Miracle Flight from our friends at Nemours:
