The RMHCGDE Chef will work with the Operations Team to develop and execute a safe and healthy meal program that will impact up to 52 guest families nightly. The Chef oversees all aspects of the commercial kitchen and House meal program. Responsibilities include meal planning, ingredient procurement, meal preparation, meal service, storage of leftovers, and inventory management. The Chef will follow ServSafe protocols and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and sanitation procedures. The Chef will create a dynamic and rewarding experience for groups wanting to serve RMH families. This is an on-site position.

Family Room Assistant

RMHC Greater Delaware is looking to add to our program staff at our Ronald McDonald Family Room® program locations at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware, in Wilmington and Christiana Care’s Women and Children’s Center in Newark, Delaware. The majority of these hours will fall on weekends, either Saturdays or Sundays. This position helps to cover holidays with holiday pay provided. Family Room Assistants work a minimum of 16 hours per month. These individuals are trained to work in our program where families and caregivers of pediatric patients receiving treatment gather to rest and regroup.  Family Room Assistants provide frontline service to welcome families and provide administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient operations in the program.
