Mary Ignudo is the Chief Controls Officer for Barclays US Consumer Bank.  As Chief Controls Officer, Mary supports the business in maintaining effective and efficient controls to mitigate operational risk.  Mary joined Barclays in May 2017 in the Risk Organization where she supported Governance and Controls, Data Management and Risk Strategy.  With more than 25 years in the Financial Services industry, Mary has had multiple roles across the different lines of businesses.

Prior to joining Barclays, Mary was with JPMorgan Chase for 11 years as an Operational Risk Manager. She was the Control Officer for 4,500 Branches across the United States. Mary also held roles in Financial Loss Forecasting, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Reporting.

Mary graduated from Lafayette College with a degree in International Affairs.  She is a local Delawarean who met and married her high school sweetheart and has raised her 2 sons in Wilmington.   She is an active member of the community and a past Board member for the Wilmington Little League.  In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, going to Disney and family time.
