Community Engagement Manager for Southern Delaware

Shawna is a dedicated professional with a passion for serving children and families in need. Originally from Indiana, she began her journey by serving in the U.S. Navy after graduating from high school. She later earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Christopher Newport University in Virginia and went on to obtain a Master’s Degree in Psychology.

With years of experience working to support children and families, Shawna has lived in Virginia, Georgia, and Maine before settling in Southern Delaware in 2014. She currently resides in Lewes with her husband and is a proud mom of four children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and relaxing at the beach.
