Join us in making a difference, one lunch at a time. Every meal packed is more than just a lunch, it’s a reminder that no family is alone in their journey. Prepare delicious grab-and-go lunches that get delivered to families at our hospital Family Rooms.
Here’s how it works:
We provide all of the ingredients and packaging, you provide the time and care to assemble the lunches. Lunches are prepared on-site in our commercial kitchen and groups will pack between 50 and 60 lunches. Trained House Van Drivers then deliver the lunches to our Ronald McDonald Family Rooms at Nemours Children’s Health and the Center for Women and Children’s Health at ChristianaCare.
- Group Size: Up to 6 volunteers per group
- Scheduling: Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M.
- Minimum Volunteer Age: 12 years old with a parent/guardian
- Visiting the House: All group members must follow our SafeVisitor procedures outlined on our group volunteers page
