09 Apr Hustle for the House 2024 Wilmington Recap
Hundreds Lace Up for Hope at the Hustle for the House Run/Walk!
This past Saturday, April 6th, over 220 runners and walkers came together at the Delaware Contemporary on the scenic Wilmington Riverfront for the first race of the Hustle for the House Run/Walk Series, benefiting RMHC Greater Delaware. The event was filled with energy, community spirit, and a shared goal of supporting families with seriously ill children.
More than just a race, the Hustle for the House offered a fun-filled day for the whole family. Participants of all ages enjoyed activities like face painting, photo opportunities, and balloon art, while refreshments fueled their post-race celebrations.
The event truly hit home with a heartfelt speech from the Mason-Grozinski family. Sharing their experience staying at the Ronald McDonald House, they brought to light the invaluable support the organization provides to families facing unimaginable challenges.
The spirit of competition was also high, with prizes awarded to race winners and top fundraisers. Every step taken and every dollar raised brings hope to families in need.
Mark your calendars! The Hustle for the House Series continues with its next race on May 18th in Lewes, DE. Don’t miss this opportunity to lace up for a good cause and enjoy another day of fun, community, and supporting RMHC Greater Delaware.
